KISPE World Space Week 2024

This years World Space Week had the theme of #SpaceandClimateChange and an engineer and I decided to focus on highlighting how our oceans are being impacted and how monitoring their health through missions like KernowSat-1 (a mission we are working on alongside partners) will provide us data to help combat climate change

I was provided some wording on how we could link KernowSat-1 into the WSW theme and then created custom illustrations to be posted as a carousel across social media (LinkedIn, X).

Buoys can be equipped with sensors to measure the ocean state. KernowSat-1 will orbit the Earth, hoovering up all of the ocean data from the buoys. The team at KISPE arebuilding KernowSat-1 ready for launch so I included some behind-the-scenes photos too.
